• Create effective press releases and press kits, handling all mailing and follow up
  
• Identify and contact all appropriate media in a given area from a customized perspective, based upon the needs and desires of the author or publisher
  
• Utilize all potential media - from national TV and radio, local cable and college radio, to newspaper book review sections and feature writers - with a special emphasis on NPR and its syndicated programs, including Science Friday, and Wisconsin Public Radio’s To the Best of Our Knowledge
  
• Coordinate all aspects of author tours as needed including bookstore or other venue appearances and travel arrangements - flights, hotels, cars, escorts
  
• Provide marketing advice and ongoing consultation in all areas pertaining to book publicity
